MediaLab supports S3-compatible storage and Azure Blob storage as part of its hybrid cloud infrastructure.

If you join our cloud platform, we can provide container storage for you, or — depending on your workflow — support bring-your-own (BYO) storage containers.

With cloud containers enabled, you can assign a container for each file format. For example:

• Store source files in one container.
• Store MP4s and JPGs used for playback in another.

This setup makes it easy to optimize and manage your cloud storage costs.

Each cloud container can also be configured with a custom CDN to ensure high availability for playback. Contact our service desk to get started.

Archiving Considerations

If the Archiving add-on is enabled, cloud container behavior changes. Source files can be moved automatically to archive-tier storage containers when placed in a special Archive folder inside MediaLab.

Viewing Configured Cloud Containers

To view your current setup:

1. Go to Settings → Cloud containers.
2. Create or edit containers from compatible cloud connections
