# Upload speed and estimated upload times

The time required to upload a file depends on two main factors:

1. **Upload speed of your internet connection** – This is usually lower than your download speed.
2. **File size** – Larger files take longer to upload.

Check your upload speed using a tool such as **Speedtest**. Once you have the result, you can estimate your upload time.
