To upload via MediaLab Connect, you’ll first need to log in using a private token.

1. Log in to MediaLab through your browser.
2. Go to Profile → API access (top right).
3. Click Generate private token.

- We recommend choosing no expiry date for long-term connections.

4. Open the Connect desktop app and add your account using your Lab URL and generated token.
5. In the app, go to Settings → Watchfolders to create or select a local folder. Any files placed in this folder will
   automatically upload to MediaLab.

**Note:**The private token is linked to a single user account. All uploads made through Connect will appear under that
account
