# Sharing a file on Facebook or Twitter

The easiest way to share a file on social media is by using the **Theater page** link.

### How to Get the Theater Page Link

1. Open the file in MediaLab.
2. Go to **Share → Embed**.
3. Copy the link labeled **Theater page**.

The Theater page is a public view of your video, image, or audio file. It uses the same layout as the Share page and can be branded with a custom background image. <a href="/support/account/branding/branding">See related article</a>.

### Social Media Playback

When sharing the Theater page of a video or audio file on Facebook, the platform will automatically detect the content and display an embedded player directly in the timeline.

### Embedding on a Website

If you prefer to display the media on your own site, you can embed the player directly using the embed options in MediaLab.
