Where can I find the Exif metadata for a file?

By | Files

We attempt to extract the Exif data for all uploaded media files and make it available from the “File Info” dialog. In the right bottom corner you will find a button labeled “Exif data” that let’s you view the full extract of the Exif data of the file.

If there is no Exif data available for a file, our system did probably not detect your file as a media type. Try to re-upload it or get in touch with our service desk if you need more specific help.

While you can edit all non-technical metadata, we do not provide a way to alter the Exif data of the source file. This is to ensure the integrity of the source file so that the file you download or share is always exactly the file you uploaded.
